Man crushed by van in Rochester

A man suffered serious injuries after being crushed by a van.
The 42-year-old is thought to have been pinned against a wall when the vehicle was reversing.
The accident happened in Blue Boar Lane, Rochester, just before 2pm on Saturday. The man suffered spinal, chest, pelvic and abdominal injuries.
The South East Coast Ambulance and the Kent Air Ambulance were called to the incident. The patient was treated at the scene and then taken to Medway Maritime Hospital by land ambulance.
It is not known if the patient’s injuries were life-threatening.
