A man was cut out of his car after crash in Otway Terrace, Luton

A man was cut out of his car after a crash last night.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Otway Terrace, Luton, at 5.55pm where two cars had collided.
One of the men in the cars was trapped and complaining of back and neck pain.
Around 10 firefighters attended and they used hydraulic rescue equipment to release him and then made the area safe for other motorists.
They left at 6.55pm and the man was given over to the care of the ambulance service. He was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.
Other people were also checked over at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
