Man dies after flat fire in Corporation Street, Rochester

A man has died following a flat fire.
The fire service was called to Corporation Street, Rochester, at 5.30pm.
Four engines headed to the scene alongside paramedics and police to tackle the blaze.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
However, a man died following the fire and an investigation into the incident is now underway.
One eye-witness said they saw five police cars at the scene who taped off the road to block pedestrians.Emergency services left at around 7.30pm.
