Man dies in Pickwick Crescent, Rochester, after mass police and ambulance response

A man has died after collapsing in the street this morning.
Several response vehicles, including a critical care unit, were sent to the Pickwick Crescent and May Road area of Rochester at 7am.

A witness said officers seemed to be carrying out house-to-house inquiries.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics a man, whose age is not currently known, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gas replacement works are currently taking place in the area which added to traffic problems.
Police confirmed the death is not suspicious.
