Police arrest two men after man stabbed in Copenhagen Road, Gillingham

Police have arrested two young men after a stabbing in a residential street.

The victim was taken to a London hospital by air ambulance at around 4pm last Tuesday after the attack.

It happened in Copenhagen Road, Gillingham, and the man has since been discharged.

Yesterday, Etinosa Ojo, 19, was arrested and charged the following day accused of wounding with intent.

Ojo, of Thorold Road in Chatham, was remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court today.

A second suspect, a 20-year-old man form Teynham, remains in police custody while the investigation continues.

Officers are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact the appeal line.
