Man found dead in Rochester

A man in his 70s has been found dead after police were called to the street amid concerns for a person's welfare.
Emergency services were called to St Williams Way, Rochester, at 9.50am on Saturday, January 13, following a report concerning the welfare of a man.
Officers found the dead man inside a property in the road, which was closed for around six hours.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and the next-of-kin have been informed.
A report will now be prepared for the coroner.
