Man found injured in Luton area of Chatham dies as police treat death as unexplained

A man found with a serious head injury near the bottom of a set of steps has died.
The 62-year-old had been taken to a London hospital following the incident in Victoria Road, Chatham, on February 13.
He died on Sunday.
Inquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances surrounding how the man came to be injured.
A post-mortem examination will now take place.
A man in his 60s, from Chatham, was arrested on February 15 in connection with the incident.
He was released from custody while inquiries continue.
The man was found by a member of the public in the Luton at area of the town at about 8pm.
Police are currently describing the death as unexplained.
