Polish-born Marcin Gorniak of Chatham denies raping woman in Corkwell Street alleyway

A man has gone on trial at Maidstone Crown Court accused of raping a woman in an alleyway in Medway.
Polish-born Marcin Gorniak, 30, of High Street, Chatham, denies the attack near Corkwell Street in the town in the early hours of July 28 last year.
The woman had been on a night out and had become separated from friends when she was grabbed from behind, thrown to the ground and raped.
