A man accused of armed robbery at a town centre travel agents will appear in court today.
Daryl Cook was arrested by police yesterday following an investigation into the raid at the TUI shop in Chatham earlier this year.
Armed police were called to the High Street store on February 12.
The 36-year-old, of Bryant Street, Chatham, has now been charged with two offences after allegedly making off with cash from the business.
Several victims reported being threatened with a firearm.
Detectives attached to the Chief Constable's Crime Squad charged Cook with robbery and possessing a firearm to commit an indictable offence.
Investigators also recovered a BB gun as part of their inquiries which was believed to have been used during the raid.
Cook was remanded in custody and will appear before Medway Magistrates' Court today.
Police confirmed initial witness reports of two men suspected of carrying out the raid had been revised.
A spokesman said officers are now confident just one person was involved following their inquiries.
