Man in hospital after being stabbed in Rochester

A man is still in hospital after being stabbed in the head and hand.
Police were called to a flat in Rochester after blood was seen on the front door last Thursday.
They attended the address in The Fairway at around 5.30pm and found a man who had been stabbed in the head and hand and was suffering from other assault injuries.
He was rushed to hospital where he remains.
As part of the investigation officers arrested two people on suspicion of assault.
Lewis Barovbe, 25, of no fixed address, and Stephen Gillard, 32, of Trevale Road, Rochester, were both arrested on Monday and were subsequently charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
They appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday where they were remanded to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, August 8.
