Man cut free after car crash on the M2 London-bound between junction 3 for Chatham and junction 2 for Rochester

A man was taken to hospital after being cut free from a car in a motorway crash.
The two vehicle collision happened at 8.42pm on the M2 London bound between junction 3 for Chatham and junction 2 for Rochester.
Fire crews had to remove the roof of one car to free a man.
He had serious head injuries and was taken to Kings College Hospital, in London for treatment.
The road was closed but reopened at around 11pm.
