Man rescued from River Medway after fall from Rochester Bridge

A man, who is believed to have fallen from Rochester Bridge, was rescued from the river by a fishing boat yesterday morning.
Thames Coastguard were called just after 11.30am to reports of a man calling for help from the River Medway close to the bridge.
He was recovered from the water by the fishing vessel, Hopeful.
Medway Coastguard also attended and the man was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been released.
