Man robbed of phone by knife-wielding gang in Gillingham

A knife-wielding gang who robbed a man of his mobile phone are being hunted by police.
The victim and his friend were in a field off Ito Way in Gillingham when they were approached by a group of four.
One of them then threatened the victim with a knife and demanded he hand over his phone.
The thugs then walked away in the direction of Cornwallis Avenue.
Detectives have issued descriptions of the suspects, one of whom is white, 5ft 5ins, and aged around 16. He wore a scarf, which obscured part of his face, and a hooded top.
The second suspect is a black male who is about 5ft 10ins.
The other two suspects were both female and white with one of them reported to be wearing a dark purple t-shirt.
The incident happened between 12.30am and 12.54am last Tuesday, August 15.
