A man has been taken to hospital with a serious head injury after being hit by a car in Chatham.

Police are appealing for information after the crash at around 10.35pm last night on the A2 Chatham Hill, which involved a grey Skoda Fabia and a pedestrian.

They say the injured man, aged in his 30s, was taken to a hospital in London.
