Man taken to hospital with serious injuries following Rochester assault

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being assaulted.
Police were called to The Tideway in Rochester at 6.37pm yesterday.
People reported seeing a large police presence and forensic vans.
A police spokesman said: "He sustained serious injuries and was taken to a London hospital for treatment.
"Enquiries are ongoing to locate the suspect."
