Man in hospital after 'stabbing' in Victoria Road, Chatham

A man in his 20s is in a London hospital this morning after suffering a serious stab wound.
Police were called to Victoria Road, Chatham just before 11pm last night following reports of an assault.
The man had suffered a single serious injury to his chest consistent with a stab wound.
His condition is said to be improving.
Inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident.
