Police are hunting a man who made off from the scene of a crash which left another man needing hospital treatment.
The emergency services were called out to Wykeham Street, Strood, shortly after 10.30pm last night after a Vauxhall Tigra convertible hit a number of parked cars in the road.
Police say the hurt man suffered several injuries but they are not thought to be life-threatening.
The smash closed the road at its junction near North Street while paramedics, police and fire crews dealt with the incident.
Kent 999s has tweeted this picture this morning of the car which ended up on its roof.
A police spokesman said: “Officers received a report of a single vehicle collision.
“A number of parked cars have reported damaged as a result of the collision and inquiries are ongoing.”
