Man aged 19 taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with head injuries after early morning assault in Rochester

A teenager was taken to hospital after suffering head injuries in an assault in Rochester early on Sunday morning.
Police and ambulance crews were called to Casino Rooms, Blue Boar Lane, at 2.20am. They were assisted by a doctor and paramedic from the Kent Air Ambulance who traveled to the scene by car.
A spokesman from SECAMB said: "We were called to reports that a patient was unconscious. He was later taken to hospital with serious injuries."
The 19-year-old man was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital by road.
A police spokesman said: "Police are investigating a reported assault at the Casino Rooms in Rochester.
"It is alleged two men got into an altercation, leaving one with facial injuries. Enquiries are ongoing and there have been no arrests."
