A McDonald's branch has reopened today after it shut for five weeks for refurbishment.
The 24-hour Strood drive-thru, in Commercial Road, shut on October 2 for building works.
It followed a number of McDonald's closures nationwide to make them better geared up for delivery drivers from firms such as JustEat and Uber Eats.
Changes have also been made to branches in Ashford and Maidstone.
The nearby Chatham branch is also set to close for two months in January for a revamp.
McDonald’s Strood franchisee Gian Chahal previously said: "The new refurbishment to the restaurant in Strood is incredibly exciting for us and we’re looking forward to bringing the customers in Strood a more efficient restaurant experience and a brand-new space for customers to enjoy.
"We look forward to providing improved working conditions for our staff and welcoming our new and existing local customers to the restaurant.”
