The Monday edition of the Medway Messenger is in the shops now packed with local news, pictures and sport.
We reveal exclusively that entertainer Jools Holland is to donate several thousand pounds to CPC Kent, the cerebral palsy charity which is based in Cliffe Woods.
It's part of an interview with reporter Jenni Horn which also features in our leisure guide Out on the Towns. Jenni previews all the Rochester Castle Concerts, which start on Wednesday.
Chatham's flyover, which was meant to be the answer to the town centre's traffic problems 20 years ago, is now being pulled down. See Grant Falvey's pictures as the Sir John Hawkins flyover reaches the end of the road.
The Medway School Workforce Awards and the Try Angle Awards both feature in our news pages and we also have the latest on the council's new rubbish contract, the swine flu outbreak in Medway and the Schools Under Threat campaign.
Our sports pages bring you the latest on the Gills, including manager Mark Stimson's hunt for defensive cover and an interview with new signing Chris Palmer. You can also make a nomination in this year's Medway Sports Awards.
If you're hunting for work, there are 90 job ads in our recruitment pages.
Don't miss your Medway Messenger - out now.
