All lanes are now open after a three-vehicle crash involving a police car in the Medway Tunnel.
The crash happened shortly before noon and involved an Astra, a Qashqai and the police patrol vehicle.
It is not known at this stage if anyone has suffered any serious injury and police initially put a rolling road block in place to allow traffic to get thought the tunnel.
Simon Mitsinga, 42, who drove past the scene just as it happened said: “There were multiple police cars and it looked as if one police car was wedged between two other vehicles.
“There was no ambulances on the scene when I drove past the other cars were silver in colour.”
