Police have shared photos of the inside of a car they seized after they discovered it was full of old newspapers, McDonald's bags and crisps wrappers.
The Ford Focus was pulled over by police along Hall Road in Wouldham, near the River Medway, after they suspected it was travelling without insurance at 8.05am yesterday.
Following further investigation at the scene, the vehicle was seized and the driver, a man in his 30s, was issued with a traffic offence report for having no insurance.
Officers later tweeted a picture of the vehicle's passenger seat, saying: "The odd sweet wrapper or dropped crisp from our colleagues on handover all of a sudden doesn't appear so bad.
"This is the inside of a car stopped and seized today for no insurance, no MOT and no vehicle excise licence."
Officials say the DVLA was also notified that the car was alleged to be untaxed.
