A labradoodle reported missing and feared stolen has been found safe and well.
Oaty, who is just 12 weeks old, was last seen on Thursday morning at Darland Banks, Gillingham.
Owner Sally Tether said she regularly walks her other dogs – labrador Lolly and mini labradoodle Daisy – and decided to take Oaty with them.
While off her lead, Sally thinks the pup got spooked by barking and ran away.
The 43-year-old launched a social media campaign aimed at finding the pet and was inundated with offers of help.
She posted on facebook this evening confirming that Oaty had been found.
Sally said: "We couldn’t be happier!!! We have our baby home, cannot thank everyone enough for all the help and support we have received it’s just overwhelming.
"It’s been the worst 3 days of our lives but our family is complete again."
She added: "Lots of people are asking if Oaty is ok & how she was found, thankfully she is absolutely fine, not dirty, nothing stuck in her fur, just very hungry and so happy to be home (she’s flaked out now!).
" I think although we might never know for sure, that she was taken from Darland, and put back near our house.
"Whatever happened she has been found."
More than 160 people responded to the post saying how happy they were the pup and owner had been reunited.
