Mixed results for Invicta Dynamos as players make amends for Chelmsford Chieftains loss with victory at Streatham

Invicta Dynamos bounced back from Saturday’s 7-2 defeat against Chelmsford Chieftains with a 6-4 success over Streatham Redskins.
The Dynamos made a poor start to their weekend road trip and were comprehensively outplayed by Chelmsford, who led 2-0 and 3-1 before adding four more goals.
Dynamos’ Liam Chong, pictured, scored twice for Mos but a below-par performance – and a third defeat of the ENIHL South season – left coach Kevin Parrish with food for thought ahead of his side’s visit to Streatham.
Michael Timms and Callum Fowler, however, eased his concerns with a brace apiece as Invicta made amends. The Dynamos raced into an early lead when Fowler opened the scoring after just 45 seconds. The visitors doubled their lead through Chong but the Redskins hit back to make it 2-1 before the end of the first period.
Streatham were then first on the scoresheet in the second, but the Dynamos re-established their two-goal lead via Nicky Lewis and then Timms. Redskins breached the Invicta defence for a third time in the last period, but Fowler’s second, and then Timms’, meant a fourth Redskins goal in the dying moments was academic.
Dynamos double up this weekend with a game at Romford Raiders on Saturday and a home clash with Oxford City Stars on Sunday.
