Moped passenger injured in crash near Howard School in Derwent Way, Rainham

Emergency crews were called to a road accident outside a secondary school this afternoon.
Paramedics and police attended the collision outside the Howard between a car and a moped at about 1pm.
A passenger on the bike, described as a young male thought be around 16, was treated for leg injuries at the scene and taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for further medical attention.
The injuries are described as non life-threatening.
It happened in Derwent Way, Rainham, at the junction of Oldfield and Crabtree Road.
A police car blocked off the road while crews dealt with the incident.
