Motorcylist killed in crash

POLICE today appealed for witnesses to a road accident which claimed the life of a teenage motorcylist.
His bike was in collision with a car in Rainham. Ambulance crews battled to save the life of the 19-year-old but he was dead on arrival at Medway Maritime Hospital. He has not yet been named.
His pillion passenger was also taken to hospital with leg and arm injuries which were said to be serious but not life-threatening.
The accident occurred at the junction of Pump Lane and London Road in Rainham just before 7pm last night.
