A motorist has been charged with drink-driving after a crash in Gillingham on Friday night.
Barry Daniels, 50, of Fourth Avenue, Gillingham was charged with driving while over the limit after his car came to a stop in Larkfield Avenue, at about 7.20pm.
The car he was driving blocked the road and police arrested him at the scene.
It is understood the vehicle had earlier hit a roundabout and its air bags deployed, which is thought to be the reason it came to a stop in the middle of the road.
Daniels has been bailed to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, April 11.
