The orders operated from 6pm last Friday until 6pm yesterday.

It comes after police received information indicating there could be a "large gathering of car enthusiasts", which in the past have been resulted in dangerous and antisocial driving and behaviour.

While in force, the orders allowed officers to stop anyone involved in antisocial behaviour, move them on and seize vehicles.

Anyone who ignored instructions to leave could have been arrested.

A police spokesman confirmed that two traffic offences reports were handed out during the weekend, along with three further notices to leave the area.

These were issued in respect of drivers in Strood retail park and Dockside Outlet Centre in Chatham.
