Drivers have been warned to take extra care this morning as heavy rain hits the county.
Isolated flooding has hit some roads, with police urging motorists to be careful.
A series of crashes caused problems for motorists during the morning rush hour.
On the M20, a lane was closed and tailbacks formed due to an accident involving two vehicles on the London-bound side between J6 for Chatham and J5 for Aylesford.
A van also smashed into the central reservation on the same stretch and was seen facing the wrong way, but this has now been cleared.
The A2 was also partially blocked London-bound following an accident between Canterbury and Brenley Corner, but the road had reopened by 9am.
And lengthy queues that stretched back to Sevenoaks following a crash on the clockwise M25 near Clacket Lane Services have now cleared.
The heavy downpours are expected to ease by lunchtime.
