A motorway has reopened after a van that crashed into a car and flipped over in icy conditions was recovered.
Police and traffic officers were called to the M2 between junction 3 for Chatham and junction 4 for Gillingham on the coastbound carriageway at around 6.30am.
The road was shut while the van was recovered, and traffic was at a standstill between the two junctions.
The road had reopened by 8.30am and congestion has since cleared.
Earlier, police warned drivers to take care on the M2 after freezing rain fell overnight, causing treacherous conditions.
