A mum has been left with a broken cheekbone and says she can barely see out of her left eye after being attacked on a night out.
Nadia Zuccarello said she was the victim of an unprovoked attack at Casino Rooms, in Rochester.
It happened in the early hours of Saturday, January 29 and Ms Zuccarello is now waiting to find out if she will need surgery.
The mum-of-one said: "There was no confrontation, no fight, nothing leading up to it.
"I was attacked from behind and she absolutely battered me.
"I could not even defend myself because I was hit in the temple and I immediately blacked out.
"I'm in just so much pain now. This has never happened to me before.
"In the moment I was hit I just immediately thought of my little girl.
"I am so so grateful to the people that stuck up for me and looked out for me.
"I have an eye appointment on Thursday at Queen Victoria Hospital. I don't think I'll be able to escape surgery as it's all broken and I can barely see out of my left eye."
Police received a report of the assault and a woman in her 20s from Gillingham was arrested.
She has since been bailed pending further inquiries, until April 26.
A spokesman for Casino Rooms said: "We are aware of the incident and are currently assisting Kent Police with their investigation."
