The mum-of-two, who works as a teaching assistant, said: "I heard about the great work the Hygiene Bank does and how they have a number of volunteers in Kent, but unfortunately Rochester and the Medway Towns were missed off the map, so instantly I wanted to change this and put the Hygiene Bank Rochester firmly on the map.

"I started to set up drop off points where members of the public can easily leave their donations via a collection box."

Drop off points have been set up at Homebase Chatham, Sun Pier House, Intra Arts in Rochester, Cuxton Post Office and Warren Wood Primary Academy.

Olivia sorts, weighs and distributes the hygiene produces and shares them with the Gillingham Street Angels and Medway Foodbank.

She said: "With your donations, you can help ease the stigma and worries that are attached with life on the streets.

"We support the fantastic Medway Foodbank with donations of hygiene products that then get passed on to families across Medway that really appreciate and value this service.

"Hopefully, over time we can reach more people and support more projects across Medway. No-one should be facing hygiene poverty.

"The Hygiene Bank Rochester would appreciate if more local businesses could collect for us by holding a collection box for colleagues and friends, easily donating their unused hygiene essentials."
