Royal Marine Band to perform at Salute to the 40s at Historic Dockyard Chatham

The Royal Marine Band will give an exclusive performance at the Salute to the 40s at the Historic Dockyard Chatham.

The annual event will see it transformed into a vintage lover's dream over the weekend of September 21-22.

Salute to the 40s will feature living history, re-enactors, free funfair rides, dancing and vintage vehicles.

A number of performers will grace the stage to transport people back to the era with their talents.

One of these will be the Royal Marine Band who will be performing on Saturday, September 21 at 12.30pm.

Mark Sandberg, trading services director at The Historic Dockyard Chatham said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the Royal Marine Band to our Salute to the 40s event.

“The band are world renowned for providing exceptional performances and will provide an amazing performance for our visitors."

Discounted tickets to the event can still be purchased, and full-price tickets will be available on the day.
