Officers assaulted after responding to reports of a house party in Mill Road, Gillingham

Police officers responding to a house party have been assaulted, suffering face and hand injuries.
They were called to a house in Mill Road, Gillingham, at 12.20am yesterday, where they found evidence that a party had taken place.
While at the property, three people assaulted five officers.
One police officer had to go to hospital with a hand injury and a second received facial injuries, not reported to be serious. The three other officers were not injured.
Two men, aged 41 and 25, and a 22-year-old woman, were arrested on suspicion of assault and taken into custody.
Cayenne Abrahams, 22, of Hither Green, London, has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker and possession of cannabis.
Amier Abrahams, 25, of Sherman Road, Bromley, has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker.
Kimley Abrahams, 41, of Mill Road, Gillingham, has been charged with three counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
Fines to the value of £200 each were also handed to those charged, and additionally to the organiser of the party.
The charged individuals have been released on bail and will appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on February 23, 2021.
