Aldi has revealed the opening date for a new store next to a former Toys R Us store.
Striking plans revealed how the site in Horsted Retail Park, Chatham, would be transformed to include Home Bargains, a UFC Gym and a KFC drive-thru.
The German supermarket chain has now confirmed it will open the store on June 25 this year.
A banner with the opening date was revealed outside this week.
Huge queues formed outside the Home Bargains store in March as it opened its doors.
The discount chain had delayed the launch amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Land owners Royal London previously said the site will be opened to the public by spring 2020 and should facilitate 190 new jobs.
Toys R Us went into administration in 2018 and the unit has been empty until the new shops were built.
Plans for Home Bargains and UFC Gym to move into the disused site in Maidstone Road were approved last year.
A separate application for the new Aldi and KFC was granted in 2018.
