A Tex-Mex street food chain has launched its third branch in Kent.
Plan Burrito will be opening next Monday (April 22) in Gillingham High Street.
The company was created in 2015 and currently has 11 stores across the UK – including one in Ramsgate and another in Canterbury.
In January, founder and CEO Stephen Hopper revealed a third would be opening in Gillingham.
It has taken over the unit formerly home to Bagel Bros on the high street.
At the time, Stephen told KentOnline: “The community seems really friendly and welcoming, so we are looking forward to giving that back to all the great people of the town.
“We will be offering both dine-in and delivery services, so even for those of you who can’t get to us will still be able to enjoy our food in the comfort of your home.
“Plan Burrito will be your place to go and escape the rush so you can kick back and enjoy our retro music playlist and chilled out vibe.”
Signature burritos, as well as quesadillas, flavourful tacos, fun Jungle Boxes for kids, yummy churros and generously topped nachos will be available for customers to try.
Stephen promises it will be a “hotspot for food enthusiasts”.
He added: “Our mission at Plan Burrito is to provide our customers with an unforgettable dining experience.
“We are confident that our diverse menu and welcoming atmosphere will delight locals and visitors alike.”
The branch will be run by franchisee owner Jiya Barot, who will manage 10 employees and seating for up to 20 customers.
He said: “I am proud to introduce Plan Burrito to our community.
“I am passionate about bringing quality food and exceptional service to our customers and I am excited to be a part of the Plan Burrito family."
