Paul Foley expects goals as Chatham Town look to build on Fleet win against Whitstable Town

Chatham boss Paul Foley is expecting goals when his side entertain Whitstable in Ryman League, Division 1 South on Saturday.
Foley described last Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Corinthian as ‘shocking’ but Chats bounced back with a 4-1 win over Fleet on Tuesday night for their first win in eight games.
The victory – secured by goals from Jason Barton, Kane Rice, Billy Shinners and Ryan Restell – came despite the unavailability of some players and the departure of others.
Foley (pictured) said: "We had four senior players missing and Jon Hogg was due to start but could not get to the ground on time.
Meanwhile, Leroy Huggins, Ray Powell and Solly have left the club.
Foley said: "Leroy and Ray have their own reasons for going. I don’t get too worked up about these things but they left on a low note as neither performed well in the Corinthian defeat.
"On the back of Saturday’s performance and result, I wanted players who wanted to be at the club ready for the fight so said they should go if they were looking to go. They were important signings in what was a difficult run of fixtures at the time.
"While I did not want Matt to leave, I respect his wishes for guaranteed football which we can’t guarantee anyone."
Gary Ward (suspension), Kevin Watson (hamstring) and Joe Fuller (stitches) should return against Whitstable but David Hunt (suspended) misses out.
