A man was taken to hospital yesterday after he was involved in an accident with a bus.
The incident took place just before 5pm yesterday afternoon on Luton Road, Chatham.
The road was closed for about an hour and a half between the Castle Road junction and the Ambrose Hill junction while emergency services attended the scene.
A spokesman from Kent Police said: "We were called at 4:55pm to a report of a collision on Luton Road, Chatham.
"The incident involved a bus and a pedestrian.
"The road was closed until about 5:30pm while emergency services dealt with this incident.
"South East Coast Ambulance attended and the pedestrian, a man, was taken to hospital.
"His injuries were not thought to be life threatening."
