Firefighters rescue three dogs and a cat from flat fire in Maida Road, Chatham

Firefighters rescued three dogs and a cat from after a fire broke out in a ground floor flat this morning.
Two crews were called to the property in Maida Road, Chatham, just before 11am.
The pets were given oxygen therapy by the firefighters.
One team wearing breathing apparatus quickly located the fire and used a hose reel to extinguish it.
A special fan was used to clear smoke from the property.
