Have you ever wanted a pick 'n' mix while watching a film at home but it was too late to go to the shops? Or do you miss the pick 'n' mix at Woolworths? Well now you can get it delivered straight to your door.
Lauren Mills, from Cliffe, started mobile sweet business Sweetilicious last month and has already seen a huge demand from the streets of Medway.
She has converted a van into a sweet shop, selling more than 30 varieties of pick 'n' mix classics which she parks up outside people's houses.
The 34-year-old said: "It was something that always niggled at the back of my mind, how great would it be to operate like an ice cream van. I always thought why was no one else doing it.
"It got to the point where my partner told me to stop talking about it or do it. So I did."
Lauren, who also works part-time in an office, bought the van in October and has spent £25,000 to transform it into the mobile shop.
"It took longer that we wanted but seeing it finished and the response we've had has made it worth it," she added. "I think I knew how much it was going to cost which was why I was wary to start it up.
"We did have to use some of our savings but I am glad I did it. You never know if you do not try.
"I like talking to people, it is a bit of me. This does not feel like a job, it is fun, I do not feel as though I am working."
At the moment, the mum-of-two posts which town she will be visiting on her Facebook page and asks people if there is anywhere in particular they would like her to stop and then plans a route.
And it seems everyone has been rushing out to grab a bag of sweets as she has already served more than 100 customers.
"The feedback and reactions have been great," she added. "I love seeing the excitement on the children's faces. It is that wow factor when I open the door, they cannot believe what is inside the van.
"Everyone loves the idea. The requests have already been quite high and at the moment I am trying to get to everybody."
She is planning to buy a chime so people will be able to hear her coming down the street.
The Sweetilicious van is also bookable for events and parties. The price varies depending on time required, number of guests and distance.
"I chose pick 'n' mix because it is for everyone," she said. "It is a go to thing, everyone loves sweets. I just thought how great would it be to bring it to people's doors.
"You never know, one day we might have a fleet of vans going around Kent."
