Sheerness man arrested at Chatham station on suspicion of child grooming

A man from Sheerness was arrested on Friday night on suspicion of child grooming.
The 33-year-old was picked up by police at 7.10pm at Chatham train station on Railway Street.
According to Protecting Kids Online UK who confronted him, he was suspected of waiting for a young girl he had arranged to meet online.
The man was cornered by the group of paedophile hunters, who streamed the confrontation on their Facebook Page.
He remains in custody.
