Police called to incident on M2 Medway Bridge following concerns for man's welfare

Traffic was held on the M2 whilst police attend reports of concern for a man's welfare.
Officers were called to the coastbound carriageway near the Medway Bridge shortly before 5pm this evening.
All four lanes were shut between junctions two for Cuxton and three at Blue Bell Hill but the road has since reopened.
A lane closure remains in place while police respond to the incident.
All traffic had been temporarily diverted via the solid circle diversion route symbol.
