Police find Halling cocaine stash and charge two men on suspicion of drug dealing

Two men have been charged after police discovered 60 wraps of cocaine at a home.
Officers spotted a suspicious vehicle in Halling while on patrol on Friday afternoon.
They followed it and when it stopped they searched the car and seized five mobile phones.
Next the community policing unit searched a nearby address and found a stash of cocaine and another mobile phone.
Following an investigation, Shazad Miah, 36, of Bradley Road, Rochester, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
Mohammed Uddin, 22, of Nelson Walk, East London, was arrested and charged with offering to supply a Class A drug.
Both men appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
At the hearing, Miah was further remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, November 22.
Uddin was released on bail to appear at the same court on a date to be confirmed.
