A police helicopter circled the Towns yesterday after reports of a woman "acting erratically".

The force was called at around 1.45pm after concerns about a woman in Richmond Road, Gillingham.

Officers attended, along with the police helicopter and a search of the area was carried out.

Residents described seeing multiple police cars along the Gillingham road in the afternoon.

A police spokesman said: "No one matching the description of the woman was located and enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing."
