A chalet in a holiday caravan park was destroyed by fire this morning.
Police have launched an investigation after flames were spotted in Allhallows Holiday Park.
Fire crews were at the holiday destination at 05.21 am.
Two crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the chalet blaze.
However, the building had been burnt to the ground.
Police also attended at around 6.30am.
Spokesman James Walker said: "The cause is believed to be suspicious and officers are conducting inquiries to establish the full circumstances."
The caravan park is owned by holiday company Haven.
Manager of the caravan park Steve King said: “We can confirm that our security were alerted to a fire in an abandoned chalet at 5.30am this morning.
"It was quickly extinguished by Kent Fire and Rescue and at no point was there a safety risk to holiday makers, owners or team members on our park.
"The area around the chalet is being made safe and the matter is now being investigated by Kent police.”
