Stolen car crashes at Wainscott Bypass after police follow it through the Medway Tunnel

Police dog Mack helped officers search for a driver after a car crash.
At around 3am today police discovered a car they believed was stolen near the Medway Tunnel.
Police followed the car until it crashed at the Wainscott Bypass.
The driver got out the car and disappeared from the scene.
Police searched the area and police dog Mack attempted to track the driver.
The road was closed during the search and was reopened at 05:40am.
Police say inquiries into the circumstances are on going.
