Officers arrest man and seize BB gun at the Pentagon in Chatham

Officers have made an arrest and seized a BB gun after reports of a man brandishing a gun at the Pentagon Shopping Centre in Chatham.
A 19-year-old man, of no fixed address, is in police custody after his arrest on suspicion of possession an imitation firearm.
Police were called to the shopping centre at 6.25pm yesterday.
Armed officers, who were there as a precaution, took the imitation firearm, which was later confirmed to be a BB gun.
