Police say a teenager was left 'no longer fast, but certainly furious' after officers seized an e scooter in Gillingham.
Medway's police team posted an image of the scooter on Twitter after officers responded to reports of anti-social riding in Gillingham High Street yesterday.
The team said they were aware of an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour and would be responding accordingly.
A further statement from Kent Police said officers from the Medway Community Safety Unit had been called at 12.45pm, following reports that a person on an electric scooter was "riding in an anti-social manner and causing a hazard to shoppers and pedestrians in the town centre."
The statement added: "The officers seized the scooter and gave words of advice to the teenage boy who was riding it. His parents were also contacted and updated about his conduct and the reasons for the seizure."
