The red Nomex branded gloves offered are the ones she wore while driving and are estimated to gather between £7,000 and £9,000.

A spokesman for Iconic Auctioneers said: "First auctioned to raise funds for the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and subsequently featured on the TV show Four Rooms around 12 years ago, this is the first time they have been offered for auction in over 25 years."

The gloves come framed and with a plaque reading 'Worn by H.R.H Princess Diana Princess of Wales 9-7-92'.
