This lovely pussycat certainly has won over more than a few hearts.
And could it be something to do with the perfectly shaped symbol of love on his furry chest?
Anim-Mates, the pet rescue sanctuary has been inundated with calls since an appeal to find Tommy Tucker a home appeared on KentOnline.
Dennis White, secretary of the voluntary group, said: “We have had about three times as many calls as usual.
“I think it’s the heart that did it and perhaps his name.”
Tommy Tucker arrived at the sanctuary at Ash near Wrotham after being looked after by estate agents in Rochester.
Staff took pity on him when he arrived on their doorstep hungry and crying out for food.
He returned to the office every day and, with a bit of coaxing, they gained his trust enough so that he would not run away again.
The stray, thought to be about three years old, has now been adopted by a family in Surrey.
A happy ending... and in time for Valentine’s Day tomorrow.
